The original battlefield 1942, of which this new game Battlefield 1943 is based upon, helped redefine the multi player first person landscape shooter by taking the onus off of kills and placing it in a team based strategy game.

This game is fun as it requires the mindset to play out a game that wishes you to score more points over the opposition team and finally secure all bases.
